Remembrance 2019

Posted on: 11/11/2019

Broadstairs & St Peter’s Town Council held their Service of Remembrance on Sunday 10 November.  As part of the BroadstairsBroadstairs community, the School was represented this year by the Head Boy and Head Girl, in the wreath laying ceremony at The War Memorial at PierremontPierremont Hall.

In glorious sunshine for a November morning, the service saw local dignitaries and organisations paying their respects.  A thought provoking order of service reminded all of the sacrifices made by those that fought and lost their lives historically and also to give thought for those, and their families, that are currently serving in hostile territories.

The School was honoured to take part in this splendid commemoration of all of our heroes, both fallen and serving.

“At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.”
