The Brilliant Club Launch 2019
Posted on: 22/01/2019A group of twelve Year 9 and 10 students visited Goldsmiths, part of the University of London, earlier this month, as part of the The Brilliant Club programme. This was the launch event for this year’s programme and students were given the opportunity to complete tutorials focusing on key skills, such as note taking. They also got a chance to tour the University campus. Students will now go on to complete tutorials, with a PhD student in school, examining the use of iconography in Renaissance art.
The students will use the knowledge gained to complete a 2000 word, academic, piece of writing. When students successfully complete the programme, they will graduate as a scholar at the University of Sussex.
A very busy term lies ahead for these students!
