Raising Funds for Porchlight

The Charles Dickens School is taking part in a Thanet wide school fundraising event to help support the fabulous work of Porchlight.  Students paid £1 to come to school in non-school uniform to raise money for this very worthy charity. 

Porchlight is one of the School’s chosen charities to support this year and so the School expects lots of fundraising, not just this one off.

30% of Kent’s homeless live in Thanet so anything that the School can do within its own community to either raise awareness or raise funds is welcomed.
