Headstart Kent Project

CDS is extremely proud to work closely with the HeadStart Kent project.

Two Year 10 students, are volunteers who have been working hard in their free time with HeadStart at weekends. The girls have helped recruit new staff, evaluate the HeadStart programme, and have also piloted some wellbeing and resilience workshops for the community.

The girls have been given the opportunity to lead on aspects of the project, including:

•MoodSpark website development

•Evaluation of aspects of the programme and Pay it Forward grant scheme

•Participation of the recruitment and commissioning of the programme
