Year 8 Options Taster Day

Year 8 CDS students were given a taste of the option subjects on offer at school today.  Teachers had the opportunity to enthuse students with their passion for the subjects on offer, and get them to sign up to start studying in Year 9.

Taster subject sessions explained details about the course on offer, assessment, and the topics covered as well as examples of activities. 

Taster Day sits ahead of the scheduled Year 8 Options Evening on Monday 28 February, when parents/carers will have an opportunity to hear, for themselves, about all of the different learning pathways on offer to students from Year 9.
