International Women's Day 2022

As part of International Women’s Day Miss Arthurs (Director of Maths) arranged an excellent enrichment opportunity for Year 9 and 10 CDS students, taking part in an online session run by the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme – (AMSP)

This year’s theme is Break the Bias. The interactive sessions investigated biases that exist in STEM industries, and sought to get students to think about how we can address them as a society. The sessions also looked at gender diversity in STEM careers along with hearing from some inspirational women who use STEM in their jobs.
