Engineering Club made jack-o’-lanterns which are a traditional decoration for Halloween. Pupils drew a design and then used Techsoft to transfer it to a computer and print the face of their jack-o’-lantern on the laser cutter. These look amazing !#cdsdt #cdsengineering pic.twitter.com/ff2kRVTuFa

CDS Year 7 history pupils have been learning about the Atlantic Slave Trade and were set homework to Identify and carry out a small piece of research (it could be based around the 5Ws) on an instance of slavery throughout history.
It was their choice how to present the work - in a small paragraph, as a poster, or on a cake!!!
This clever student made a cake and was then able to explain the significance of it.
