The Hygiene Bank

Year 11 CDS pupils are supporting the local branch of the The Hygiene Bank throughout this year.

At The Hygiene Bank, they believe it is not right that feeling clean should be a luxury or a privilege for anyone in our society but, many are living in poverty and cannot afford to stay clean.

The Bank supports the local community by distributing products that are donated to their network of community partners, a mix of organisations, charities and schools, who support those who are pulled into poverty.  The School aims to support them by raising awareness of the work that they do, providing donations through the in school drop off point, and running a range of events to raise money for the charity.

Pupils will also be involved in collecting and sorting donations made to the charity to help the distribution process.
