Year 7 Orienteering Event
Posted on: 20/05/2024Year 7 CDS pupils took part in an orienteering event at Betteshanger Park.
They were given a map of the Park with different numbers on and had to navigate/orienteer their way around the Park to find as many of the numbers as they could in one hour.
When they found the number, they had to write down a code on their team sheet of paper. The hope was that they would have the most codes written down at the end of the event!
Despite not winning, they all had a brilliant time, competing against 3 other schools from Thanet and finding a combined total of 8 codes. Pupils showed brilliant teamwork and communication throughout, and a great afternoon was had by all!
