Engineering Club made jack-o’-lanterns which are a traditional decoration for Halloween. Pupils drew a design and then used Techsoft to transfer it to a computer and print the face of their jack-o’-lantern on the laser cutter. These look amazing !#cdsdt #cdsengineering pic.twitter.com/ff2kRVTuFa

CDS were delighted to be invited to a Time Capsule planting at the newly opened, Copperfield Court care home in Broadstairs.
Pupils and staff, were given a tour of the newly built home and saw how residents were cared for.
The school's new head pupils planted a time capsule, to be opened in 2074 - They are wondering what people think of what they put in there, when it’s opened 50 years from now!
