Engineering Club made jack-o’-lanterns which are a traditional decoration for Halloween. Pupils drew a design and then used Techsoft to transfer it to a computer and print the face of their jack-o’-lantern on the laser cutter. These look amazing !#cdsdt #cdsengineering pic.twitter.com/ff2kRVTuFa

Year 7 pupils at CDS undertook training from Community Lifesavers.
This is a Thanet-based project, which provides first-aid training for all Year 7 pupils across the district. The session involves learning how to administer CPR and be able to use a defibrillator, which are vital life skills! High praise was given to the year group on their excellent attitude throughout the workshops.
Well done Year 7!
