Engineering Club made jack-o’-lanterns which are a traditional decoration for Halloween. Pupils drew a design and then used Techsoft to transfer it to a computer and print the face of their jack-o’-lantern on the laser cutter. These look amazing !#cdsdt #cdsengineering pic.twitter.com/ff2kRVTuFa

Year 10 CDS top Mathematicians went to Canterbury Academy to take part in a problem solving day. There were 16 teams competing and our team did very well. We came 4th, and 5th overall, with only 1 point separating the teams. Both teams scored 65 and 64 respectively out of 100, and CDS came 2nd in the most challenging round, scoring 21 out of 25, and going on to win the best teamwork prize.
