Engineering Club made jack-o’-lanterns which are a traditional decoration for Halloween. Pupils drew a design and then used Techsoft to transfer it to a computer and print the face of their jack-o’-lantern on the laser cutter. These look amazing !#cdsdt #cdsengineering pic.twitter.com/ff2kRVTuFa

Budding CDS engineers, in Engineering Club, made jack-o’-lanterns which are a traditional decoration for Halloween. Pupils drew a design by hand and then used the application Techsoft to transfer their design to a computer and print out the face of their jack-o’-lantern on the laser cutter. They then handmade their boxes using hand tools, smoothing the edges by machine. Lots of new skills learnt and the results look brilliant!
