CDS "STEM for All" Project

Broadstairs Rotary Club have donated a massive £1000 to the CDS STEM Club to kickstart their ‘STEM for all’ project.

This initial funding will be used to purchase their first first LEGO Spike Prime Kit and a new laptop to use for programming.

Two CDS STEM Ambassadors received the cheque from the Rotary Club. A big thank you to the Rotary Club for helping this project get underway.

CDS pupils can join STEM club from January 2025 and will be able to experiment with the LEGO robotics kits.

The Rotary Club also donated a huge number of crocus bulbs to CDS which are being planted around the school grounds by pupils from the Gardening Club.  Everyone is looking forward to seeing the green fingered results in springtime!
